Hello!

This my personal blog. The purpose of this blog is to focus on how we all can get More Out Of Life by using systems and methods designed to deliver results. Let me know what you think.

William Anfuso’s Life Changing Revelation

William Anfuso’s Life Changing Revelation

I started seeking a better life by living intentionally when I was about 18. In my own attempt to become an adult, I took a second to look around and I realized everyone seemed to be struggling with the same—or at least very similar—problems. It seemed like people were just kind of thrust into adulthood, and everyone was just letting life happen TO them rather than actually playing an active role in it.

It was like everyone was grasping at straws just trying to figure it all out as they went along. It was just crazy to me that in our highly-developed society, most people just get thrown into the “frying pan” anywhere between the ages of 15 and 25.

Sure, most of us are aware of and work towards the same BIG milestones. Things like:

•   get a job or continue your education

•   earn a living

•   find a way to manage the money you make

•   say relatively healthy

•   maybe find a partner and start a family

But how. And once you accomplish all those, then what? These are issues that even some of the most ambitious people can view as daunting tasks. It’s like we know most of the stops we need to make along the way in life, but there’s no roadmap to guide us through. And it doesn’t help that often by the time we have enough life-experience to answer these questions, it’s probably a little too late to implement them.

It was abundantly clear to me that life is so short and that time is the most valuable resource we have. By the time, I had children of my own I knew I didn’t want them to have to face these types of decisions on their own or without real guidance. I wanted to give them the opportunity to choose from models that work.

There Has to Be a Better Way to Live

Of course, there are some difficulties and pains in life that are impossible to avoid, but there are also plenty of pains, difficulties, and “curveballs” that can be avoided if we are prepared for them. I’ve read many books and looked into plenty of “self-help” strategies, and while there are some good tips and tricks in these resources, I found that it required me to try and synthesize the information in a way that was actually useful and answered the questions I was asking.

That’s when I realized many of the concepts in planning and running a business translate into everyday life. Over the years I’ve found frameworks and methods that can help people make progress together regardless of whether you’re at work or at home.

For example, if you take the time to start with a vision for where you want to go, define a clear picture of a future life you’re excited about living, then create a plan on how to get there, and use weekly reporting and accountability, you’re well on your way to achieving more of what really matters to you.

Again, this is not to say that life’s curveballs won’t come, but won’t having this thoughtful, personalized roadmap to YOUR definition of success make bumps in the road a little more manageable? After all, with a defined plan you’ll be able to assess where you got off track, and what exactly you need to do to catch up and get back on track.

William Anfuso is Just a guy, Not a Guru

I don’t want you to get the wrong impression of me. One of the things that makes me nervous about sharing these concepts to a wider audience is coming across as a “guru,” making it seem like I’ve got it all figured out, or having you think I’ve got myself up on a pedestal. That couldn’t be further from the truth. I need answers as much as anyone else.

You see, I don’t believe there is one person or guru who holds all the answers to getting more out of life. We are all human—well, at least I know I’m guilty of being human—and I believe we are all capable of doing both great good and great harm.

I recently started a venture called get mool. and my goal is not to preach how people should be living your lives, but to provide and share the methods and frameworks that I have discovered along my own path thus far, and translate them into an applicable model for others to use.
